The Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest promotes the excellence of the training and development-research services. Its mission is to consistently train, at the highest level, professionals who contribute to the scientific and technological progress, to the development of professionalism and efficiency and to the growth of the usefulness of this training for the real economy, in order to raise the living standards.
Thus, the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest aims at meeting all its training objectives, so that the graduates should be able to become successful actors in the labour market competition.
The first step in achieving this objective is the constant review and improvement of the content of the TUCEB curricula, starting from the definition and clear delimitation of the general and specialist skills in the field of the university degree, correlated with adequate study skills acquired during the Masters Programme.
In accordance with the cycles organization of the higher education -Law 288 / 2004 - the Master studies (IInd Cycle) started in the academic year 2009-2010, the first promotion after the completion of the first cycle of full-time studies for engineers lasting four years. For engineering domains, (19 specialist domains) the organization of the Master Studies observes the ECTS system, the duration of the programme is of three semesters, with a total of 90 transferable credits and 30 credits for the elaboration and support of the dissertation. The specialist interdisciplinary education sciences cover for four semesters and also sum up 120 ECTS.
