Students can be transferred only for the second year and the ensuing ones, except for the final year of study, and only within the same field.
During the first year of study, students are also granted a transfer approval, from one faculty to another, within the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest, and from one domain to another, provided that the admission average grade is at least equal to the average grade of the last candidate admitted to the specialist domain for which the transfer is required. Approval is granted by the Academic Board in well-justified cases.
Transfers from evening classes to full-time tuition and vice versa, and from one specialist domain to another, within the same academic institution, are approved by the board on the basis of the requests filed by the students no later than the 25th of September.
Transfers from one faculty to another within the university or from another institution of higher education to the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest shall be approved by the boards of the two academic institutions and by the Academic Board of the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest and by the Senate offices of the academic institution, respectively.
Students can be transferred only after the completion of the school record for the academic year when they were matriculated. The application for transfer shall be filed until the 25th of September and solved by the 30th of September.
The re-matriculation of former students of the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest or of other institutions of higher education may be approved by the Academic Board, with the agreement of the board of the academic institution, if the applicant was expelled for other reasons than serious misdemeanour. The application for re-matriculation shall be submitted to the academic institution by the 15th of September.
Re-matriculation can be granted only once, after at least one year from the date of expulsion. A fee shall be paid for re-matriculation.For transferred or re-matriculated students, the board of the academic institution shall establish the list of made-up examinations (exams, colloquia, projects with a distinct grade) by the 31st of October.
