On the basis of the Institutional Agreement signed with the European Commission, the Technical University of Civil Engineering has regularly received funds for participating in various actions of the Socrates-Erasmus programme. The use of these funds has been conditioned by signing bilateral conventions with partner universities from countries in the European Union.
Such bilateral conventions have been signed with prestigious universities in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, Greece, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and Finland.
Their main objective is to provide the framework for students' mobility at all levels: pre-graduation (excepting the 1st and 2nd year of study), Master and doctoral studies.
Among the results obtained by TUCEB in the field of international cooperation, one has to mention the Thematic Network initiated by TUCEB: European Civil Engineering Education and Training - EUCEET, a network of 131 partner institutions from 29 European countries.
